There are (were) a couple of things to look at;
The oil change and oil filter remplacement have been done. But there were also some electrical issues to look at. For the second time, the brake light on the front brake no longer worked. Having the Norton’s electrical lay-out helps, wasn’t it that, through time, some wires have already been worked on and I find myself with several red wires. Go figure where they come from or are going to.

So, happy, everything was mounted again, a last check and the brake light still worked. And the video could have ended there.
Wasn’t it that, after checking all, the front light’s high beam no longer worked… Opening up again the headlight shell, a wire was broken. Fixed it, check, high beam works again.

Next objective is to replace the front brake pads.
Il y a (avait) plusieurs choses à faire;
La vidange et remplacer le filtre à huile c’est fait. Mais il y a aussi quelques soucis électrique à regarder. Pour le deuxième fois, le feu stop commandé par le frein avant ne fonctionne plus. Avoir le schema électrique aide mais il y avait déjà des réparations par le passé et je me retrouve avec plusieurs fils rouge. Va savoir alors d’où ils viennent et où ils vont.

Le problème du feu stop a été trouvé plus rapidement que je ne pensais et le feu stop fonctionne à nouveau !

Donc, content, le tout a été remonté et fermé, une dernière vérification et le feu stop fonctionnait toujours. Et on pourrait en rester là avec la vidéo.
N’était ce, après vérification de toutes les fonctions, le phare ne fonctionnait plus… Ré ouverture du phare, un fils de cassé. Réparé, vérification, le phare fonctionnait à nouveau.

L’objective suivant est de purger le frein avant et de remplacer les plaquettes.
Er zijn (waren) wat dingen om naar te kijken;
De olie is al ververst en het olie filter vervangen. Maar er waren ook wat elektrische probleempjes om naar te kijken. Voor de tweede keer werkte het remlicht van de voorrem niet meer. Het helpt om het elektrische schema van de Norton onder ogen te hebben, was het niet dat, door de tijd heen, wat draden al vervangen waren en ik mezelf nu vind met verschillende rode draden. En Joost mag weten waar die vandaan komen of naar toe gaan.

Toch was het euvel sneller gevonden dan gedacht en het remlicht werkt weer !

Dus, blij, alles weer terug in elkaar gezet, een laatste test en het remlicht werkte nog steeds. En dat had het einde van de video kunnen zijn.
Was het niet dat, na alles gecontroleerd te hebben, het groot licht niet meer werkte… Koplamp weer geopend, een draad afgebroken. Gemaakt, test, het groot licht werkte weer.
